Terms of Use

These terms are the deal between you and BeBee. They are short because the deal is simple: we run a shared family map, you use it with people who agreed to share it with you, and nobody gets tracked without knowing.
1. The agreement
By creating an account or using BeBee you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with something here, the honest thing is not to use the app — and if you already have, you can delete your account at any time in your profile.
2. Your account
Keep your sign-in to yourself, tell us the truth about who you are, and use one account per person. You are responsible for what happens under your account until you tell us it has been compromised.
3. What BeBee is
BeBee shows your position, your uncovered map, and your walks to groups of people who invited each other. It is a tool for families and friends who chose to share — it is not a surveillance product, not an employee-monitoring tool, and not an emergency service.
4. The consent rule
You may only follow the location of people who agreed to share it with you — or your own children, as their legal guardian, ideally with them knowing about it. Using BeBee to track anyone without consent is a breach of these terms and of the law, and we will terminate accounts that do it.
5. Your content
Messages, photos, plans and names you create remain yours. You give us only the licence we technically need: to store them and show them to the groups you shared them with. We claim nothing else, and deleting content or your account withdraws that licence.
6. Premium
Premium is an optional paid subscription. The price and what it includes are shown before you pay, and you can cancel any time with effect from the end of the paid period. Cancelling keeps your free plan — the map, your history and your memories — and pauses the shared features: groups, live location, safe zones and route planning, until you subscribe again.
7. Accuracy and safety
Positions come from GPS and networks, and both have bad days: tunnels, tower blocks, empty batteries and switched-off phones all happen. BeBee must never be your only safety measure for a person you care about. In an emergency, call 112 — not the app.
8. Availability and changes
We improve BeBee continuously, which sometimes means changing or retiring features. If a change removes something material, we will tell you in the app beforehand. We do our best to keep the service up, but we cannot promise it will never be down.
9. Liability
BeBee is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for damage caused by inaccurate positions, missed notifications, or the service being unavailable — and nothing in these terms limits liability that the law says cannot be limited.
10. Ending things, and the law
You can stop using BeBee and delete your account whenever you like, in your profile. We can terminate accounts that break the consent rule or abuse the service. These terms are governed by the law of the Slovak Republic. Questions belong at hello@bebee.app.
